Hi All! I hope you found this page okay! I wanted a quiet place to offer a few extras for you that didn't require another newsletter or piece of paper to get thrown in the bin. While I love box inserts, this also reduces the footprint and cost per box, which keeps everyone happy I think.
Aside from free patterns and tutorials, A Fiber Collective also embraces slow living. Finding quiet moments to really soak in - life. We find the time to make our clothing and accessories, so why not find a few more moments to read, or bake a loaf of bread or cookies. In this section, I'd like to offer recipes I'm currently loving, projects & DIYs, and pattern suggestions for the yarn that was sent to you. Every subscriber for each box that was sent out this month will have access to this page, so there will be suggestions for each of you. I will also include our collaborators and their websites / social media pages.
About your Boxes:
Each box should have come with an insert, but we'll still review that information here. The biggest part of AFC is the collaborative effort of the small businesses who took the effort to help make these boxes happen.

Project Recommendations:
Both the Farm and Hand-dyed box came with 100g of DK weight yarn, which leaves lots of opportunity for accessories! I'm including a few of my recent favorites (narrowing this down was really difficult, but I'm hoping this might be a good place for you to start!)
Gro Hat , Ebb Tide Cowl , Snowdrift Mittens , Timber Fingerless Gloves
For our Sock box, Kimberly from Palmer Fiber Co sent out a gorgeous tonal set, which I think would be highly appropriate for anything textured or just a vanilla sock with a contrast heel and toe.
Sock patterns I'm eyeing this month are:
Flagstaff Socks , Wabakimi Socks , Comfort & Joy Socks
Living:
I love baking during the cooler months. There's just something about having the oven going, the extra warmth it provides when you leave it open to let the heat out after you're done baking, and the aroma of fresh baked goods. This time of year I gear pretty hard into snack foods - lots of breads and cookies, so I'll share a few of my current favorites.
Gingersnap Cookies (these have been on repeat over the last few weeks!)
